Stonebwoy condemns killing of soldier in Ashaiman


Reggae/Dancehall superstar Stonebwoy has reacted to reports of a soldier murdered in Ashaiman and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) dawn operation to round up suspects.

Nicknamed 1Gad, he took his Facebook, today, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, to speak on the issue.

Revealing that he is not currently in Ghana but “in New York,” he noted “the news of what’s going on in my beloved Ashaiman,” and “unequivocally” condemned “all acts of violence and lawlessness, whether it relates to the brutalization of innocent civilians,” as is being reported or the “unlawful killing of a member of the armed forces.

The award-winning singer-songwriter hoped that: “...those cupable [would] be found out and made to face the law fully.”

Stonebwoy captioned the above picture with a call for calm and peace, stressing that Tuesday’s early sudden downpour was enough.
