BRIT AWARDS 2023 – Beyoncé wins ‘International Artiste of the Year’

Beyoncé won the International Artist of the year at the 2023 BRIT Awards Barely a week after winning her 32nd Grammy Award.

The show was held at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday, February 11, 2023. In her thank you speech, she said, “Thank you very much for this incredible recognition. I would like to say thank you to all of my fans out there in Britain for your continuous support over the years and the renaissance begins. I’ll see you all on tour. Thank you all so much for this honour.”

The BRIT Awards 2023, the 43rd edition of the ceremony, presented by the British Phonographic Industry is organized to recognise the best in British and international music.

Also, British rapper, singer, and songwriter Stormzy performed his hit singles ‘Hide and Seek’ and ‘I got my smile back’ from his recently released album ‘This is what I mean’ at the 2023 BRIT Awards last night.

Stormzy opened his performance with the hit Hide and Seek with sweeping visuals giving Old Skool 70s energy to London. He then slowed it down in the second half with ‘I Got My Smile Back’ and was accompanied by an angelic choir.

Brit Awards 2023, the 43rd edition of the ceremony, presented by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), was held on 11 February 2023 to recognize the best in British and international music. The ceremony took place at The O2 Arena in London and was hosted by British comedian Mo Gilligan, who returns after hosting the 2022 edition. Coverage of the red carpet was broadcast on ITV2 and presented by Clara Amfo, Maya Jama, and Roman Kemp. The 2023 Brit Award trophy was designed by Nigerian-born London-based artist Oluola Slawn.

Going into the ceremony, Harry Styles and Wet Leg were the most-nominated artists, with four each. Styles emerged as the night’s big winner, winning in all four of the categories he was nominated in, with Wet Leg and Beyoncé also winning multiple awards.
